Trip to Utah

We just got back from a 2 1/2 week trip to Utah. Although we are happy to be home it sure was hard saying good-bye to all of our family and friends. We had a wonderful time and want to thank all of you who made our trip so memorable.

Celebrating the 24th of July in Utah is a big deal. Here we are at the annual parade in SLC. The girls were convinced that all of the beauty queens were princesses and they were waving just to them.

Lindsay enjoyed spending time with all of his siblings. It is a very rare occasion when they are all in one place at the same time. Ryan traveled all the way from Indonesia just to make this happen!

Walking Stick Project

Here are the simple supplies we used for making some fantastic walking sticks. We found several sturdy sticks and decorated them with electrical tape, feathers and small bells. Afterwards we headed up the canyon and tried them out on a short hike.
